Conto: Split the Bill

Tired of hearing “no separate checks” at the register and having to work out everyone’s share one by one on a calculator? Get Conto: one tap and you know what you spent. Snap the receipt: Conto reads the items on your phone, without sending the photo anywhere. Check that the items add up to the total, then everyone taps their name on what they had. • Long receipt? Snap it in several photos: Conto joins them without duplicates. • An item shared by several people is split equally. • The cover charge is split among everyone; remove whoever doesn’t pay it. Discounts are shared proportionally. • Couples: separate shares plus the couple’s total. • Tip as a percentage and rounding per person. • Six-digit code: anyone with Conto joins the table from their own phone, as soon as the person who created the bill accepts them. • Everyone their own share: anyone with Conto marks what they had on their own phone, cover charge included, and instantly sees what they owe whoever paid, with buttons to pay them. Whatever nobody takes stays with whoever paid: people who don’t use the app don’t hold anyone up. • People without the app are handled from another phone: one phone is enough for the whole table. • Works offline too, on that phone only. • Any currency, 12 languages, iPhone and iPad. Did you pay? Add the ways people can pay you back (Revolut, PayPal, Satispay, IBAN or other links): everyone gets their share in a message or scans a QR code at the table, and in bills with a code they pay with one tap from their own app. Your payment details stay on your phone; in bills with a code only the people at the table see them, for as long as the bill exists (24 hours at most). At the end of dinner everyone sees their share in detail, and you can send everyone the “split receipt” as an image or as text. Conto doesn’t move money: it works out the shares and takes you to the app you pay with. No account, no ads.
