About FuelBalance: Nutrição e Treino
FuelBalance tells you exactly how much to eat today, how much protein to consume per meal, and how many carbohydrates to carry for long training sessions. It integrates with Strava to pull in your workouts, automatically adjusting your daily plan. Designed for cyclists, runners, and triathletes. You focus on training, eating, and resting—we’ll handle the intelligence. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tell us about yourself: your goal, sport, upcoming race (if applicable), age, height, and weight. 2. Get an instant plan: your daily targets, protein intake per meal, and carbohydrate and hydration needs for long workouts. If you have a target weight, the app provides a realistic date for reaching it. 3. Save and log your way: your plan is securely stored and linked to your phone via an SMS code. Easily log your meals using photos, text, or voice notes. A REST DAY IS NOT A 3-HOUR RIDE Standard calorie counters provide the same daily number regardless of your activity. FuelBalance combines your resting metabolic rate with the actual training data from Strava, adjusting your nutritional needs accordingly. For example: Ana, 36, 68 kg, wants to maintain her weight. On a Tuesday rest day, she needs about 1,500 kcal; on a Saturday with a 3-hour ride, she needs about 3,350 kcal, including 60–90g of carbohydrates per hour during the ride. RACE DAY: WHAT TO CARRY IN YOUR POCKET Select your race from our list of major events in Brazil. FuelBalance calculates your hourly carbohydrate, gel, water, and sodium requirements—broken down by stage for triathlons. Leading up to the event, the app tracks your training phases (base, build, taper, and carbohydrate loading) and accounts for any caloric deficit heading into race week. EATING LESS IS NOT A VICTORY For athletes, ending the day significantly below your target isn’t discipline—it’s a deficit that your next workout will inevitably pay the price for. FuelBalance alerts you when your deficit exceeds a certain limit. LOGGING TAKES SECONDS • Photo of your meal: AI identifies the items and estimates calories and macros. You review them before saving. • Text: Type something like "rice, beans, chicken, and salad"—and it’s logged. • Voice: Tell Fuel what you ate, just like having a conversation. • Shortcuts: Add items like energy gels, bars, sports drinks, or a banana with a single tap. AND MORE • Fuel, your coach: Ask questions via text or voice—for example, "I cycled for 3 hours; what should I eat now?" It will respond with the numbers for your day. • Workout calculator: Determine how much to eat the day before, as well as before, during, and after a workout. • My Week: Mark your moderate and intense training days, and the app will plan your pre-workout and the day-before nutrition. • Sleep: Track hours slept—plus sleep stages and HRV, if your wearable device provides that data. • Weight and body composition: View trend charts and—if you track body fat percentage—see whether the weight lost was fat or lean mass. • Apple Health: Automatically sync weight, body composition, and sleep data from your smart scale or wearable device. • Reminders: Get notified at 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM if you haven’t logged a meal yet. • Your diet: Whether you follow a high-carb, Mediterranean, carb-periodized, or plant-based diet, the app’s meal suggestions are tailored to your approach. The figures are based on sports nutrition standards (ACSM and IOC) and the standard food composition database (TACO). Your data stays in your account—we do not sell your information, and there are no advertisements. You can also access your account via a web browser at fuelbalance.app/web. FuelBalance provides estimates to help guide your nutrition; it does not constitute medical advice.
