About GolfLM: Golf Launch Monitor

GolfLM turns your iPhone or iPad into a launch monitor. Mount it on a tripod, hit, and GolfLM films the strike at 240 frames per second, then shows where it went: carry and total distance, start direction, ball speed, launch, club speed and path, and a slow-motion replay with the ball's and club's paths traced. EVERY SWING, MEASURED • Carry, total distance and direction for every shot, read out loud so you never have to look down • Ball speed, launch angle, club speed, smash factor and club path, measured from the video • Face angle, spin, spin axis, apex, descent and shot shape, estimated from the launch • A down-the-line tracer of every flight, plus side-on and overhead views • Slow-motion replay of the club and ball through impact • Choose the stats you see after each shot PUTTING • Putt to a hole at any distance on a green of the speed you choose (Stimp 6–14) • See whether it dropped, lipped out or where it finished, with the roll drawn on the green • Pace, start line, face and path for every stroke • Make percentage by distance, where your misses finish and your tendencies TARGET GAME • Rounds of 3–30 shots to random pins in the range you set • Scored on your average distance from the pin; beat your best YOUR HISTORY • A year of shots and putts, grouped into sessions • Dispersion chart and session averages to compare clubs or days • Share a picture or video of any shot MATCHED TO THE DAY • Optional Local Conditions: temperature, humidity and air pressure from Apple Weather and your device's barometer, so carries match where and when you play • Set elevation, temperature and fairway firmness by hand instead if you prefer • Support for right- or left-handed players PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything is analyzed on your device.
