About Choo: Eat Slower, Meal Timer

Eat with Mochi, a baby tortoise who savors every bite with you, and give every meal a little more time. Mochi sits across the table and eats with you. It takes a bite, you take yours, and you both chew. Its little bites set an easy pace, so there's time to taste your food and notice how you feel. THREE WAYS TO PACE, ALL FREE • Bite along: take a bite when Mochi does. No tapping, so your hands stay free. • Tap along: take a bite, then tap, and Mochi keeps pace with you. • Clock only: just a meal clock and a few gentle check-ins. Handy when you eat out. Switch modes anytime, even in the middle of a meal. Cues keep going with your phone locked, on a Live Activity, and discreet mode keeps things low-key at a restaurant. With Apple Watch, start a meal on your iPhone and feel a gentle tap on your wrist at every bite. SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO • Reach your meal's target and the Bloom opens. • Earn petals, keep a streak going, and complete daily quests. • Watch Mochi grow from a hatchling into a sprout, and keep growing. • Get a letter from Mochi about your first days together. • Travel a six-week Journey from the Garden to the Beach, one place at a time. • Spend petals on shells, plates, cups and cozy table decor. • Share your savored meals and milestones. • Invite friends: you both get petals, and every three friends who finish a meal earn you a month of Choo Plus (up to three). ABOUT PACE, NEVER RESTRICTION Choo never counts or judges what you eat. Rewards go to slow bites and time at the table, not to eating less, and stopping when you feel satisfied counts too. Finishing is always one tap, with no warning. Missed a day? A free weekly freeze covers it. YOUR PACE, YOUR REASONS Some people want to taste their food. Some want meals to feel more comfortable. Others are eating slower on a GLP-1 medication or after bariatric surgery: those tracks start at a gentler pace, add a belly check halfway through, and ask about nausea after meals. The bariatric track adds a chew guide. The pace moves up gently over six weeks, only after a week of practice. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No ads, and nothing you share about your health goes to advertisers. • Your meals back up to your own account. No name, email or password needed. • Analytics are anonymous, never include health answers, and can be turned off. • Delete your account and data from the app's menu, anytime. CHOO PLUS Every meal is free. Choo Plus adds: • Chew Coach (iPhones with Face ID): Mochi counts your chews as you eat. It all happens on your phone: no photos or video are kept, only the counts. • A letter from Mochi every week about your meals together. • Pace and feel insights: how full you felt after your slower meals compared with your faster ones. • Your full meal history, and a one-page report to share with your doctor or dietitian. • Your own pace and meal length for every meal. • Plus shells, plates and places, with a gift of three every season. • A streak repair every month, for when a few days slip by. • Monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The app shows the price in your currency. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. • The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Choo offers general guidance, not medical advice. If your doctor, dietitian or surgeon gave you different instructions, follow theirs. If you're in recovery from an eating disorder, check with your care team before using pacing tools.
