Doomblob: Screen Time Pet

Doomblob is a tiny pet that lives on your screen time. Pick the one app you want to use less. Every minute you spend in it costs your blob health. Run out, and your blob becomes a ghost until tomorrow. HOW IT WORKS • Name your blob and pick its colour. Your app icon changes to match. • Choose the one app you are battling, using Apple's Screen Time picker. • Pick a difficulty: the harder the level, the faster health drains. • Every minute in that app drains your shield first, then your blob's health. EARN SHIELD BY MOVING Fresh challenges arrive every day at midnight. Walk, climb stairs, take a mindful minute or finish a workout to charge your blob's shield. Doomblob reads your activity from Apple Health, and works with data from Apple Watch and other trackers that write to Apple Health. GOOD APPS Add up to two apps you would rather spend time in, like a reading or language app. Time in them charges the shield too. SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Trends show your week, month and year: time in your app, shield earned and challenges won. • Share a progress card with friends. • A gentle nudge when you have been scrolling for a while, and a notification when a challenge is won. Both can be turned off. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up. • Your Screen Time and Apple Health data never leave your iPhone. • Doomblob never sees which apps you have installed, and never blocks anything. You stay in control. Doomblob is free with a small banner ad. A one-time purchase removes ads for good. Doomblob uses the Screen Time API and reads Apple Health data (steps, distance, flights climbed, mindful minutes, workouts, active energy and heart rate) to check your challenges. It is not a medical app.
