PfandLens: Deposit Scanner

Know what your empties are worth before you reach the return machine. PfandLens counts German deposit (Pfand) bottles, cans and beverage crates with your iPhone camera and estimates their value — processed on your iPhone, without an account and without uploading a single image. HOW IT WORKS 1. Point the camera at your empties — single bottles, cans or whole crates. 2. PfandLens finds them with on-device object detection and shows each item with a box and its confidence. 3. Check the result, correct any count with + and −, confirm crates and save. SMART PFAND COUNTING • Single-use bottles and cans (Einweg, 0.25 €), reusable bottles (Mehrweg, 0.15 €) and reusable beer bottles (0.08 €) • Beverage crates counted separately — bottles inside a crate are never counted twice • Uncertain crates are clearly marked and only counted after you confirm them • Items that can't be identified with confidence are shown as such — never guessed • All deposit values are editable, e.g. for swing-top bottles or special crates OFFLINE & PRIVATE Recognition runs on your iPhone with Vision and Core ML. Camera frames are analysed in memory and discarded. Scans, statistics and settings stay on this iPhone. No account, no server, no analytics or advertising SDKs. HISTORY & STATISTICS See today, this week and your lifetime deposit. Every scan is saved with date, items, crates and status. Edit counts later, mark scans as returned and delete single scans or the whole history. HOME SCREEN WIDGET Small, medium and large widgets show today's deposit, this week, your total, items and open Pfand. Switch the period right in the widget and start a scan with one tap. OPTIONAL RETURN REMINDERS Save the shops where you return your empties and get a gentle reminder when you arrive with open Pfand. Location is off by default and never needed for scanning.
