Antes del Wifi

Remember heading out to play and not coming back in until someone called you home? Antes del Wifi takes you back to the streets of the barrio: the dirt in the yard, the colmado on the corner, the rooftop, and the kids waiting for you to come play. EIGHT GAMES FROM THE BARRIO • Bola: marbles in the dirt ring. Aim, add spin and choose your shot: Flick, Knuckle, Drop, Roll or Chirrín. • Dominoes: the colmado table with Dominican rules, in pairs or one on one. Capicúa, lock and all. • Vitilla: street baseball with a broomstick and a bottle cap. • Yun: cross the chalk lines without getting tagged. • Chichigua: fly your kite all afternoon and take on the barrio in a kite fight. • Mano Caliente: face the wall, take the slap and guess who did it. • El Pañuelo: run, grab the handkerchief and get back without getting tagged. • Trúcano: Dominican hopscotch. Throw your stone and keep your balance on one foot. PLAY YOUR WAY • Vs. the barrio: kids with their own personalities and tricks. • Pass & Play: two players on one phone. • With friends: on the same Wi-Fi, or online with a 5-letter code. Put chelitos in the pot if you want. • The league: ranked Bola and Dominoes with monthly seasons and prizes. • Chat at the table with phrases straight from the barrio. YOUR BARRIO • Earn chelitos, spend them at the colmado and dress up your kid. • Two barrios to explore, Los Mina and Capotillo, with more games on the way. • Missions, an album, levels and a daily reward. • Every game teaches you how to play, step by step. Made for everyone who grew up in a Dominican barrio, and for anyone who wants to know what it was like. The game starts in Dominican Spanish and is fully playable in English.
