About Mokulua Math
Mokulua Math is a beachside math adventure built by a dad, with characters inspired by his family's favourite characters and inspired by Lanikai's Mokulua Islands. Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with helpful hints and playful boss rounds. Behind the scenes, a carefully built learning system remembers which facts are known, which need support, and when to revisit each one to help learning stick. It also turns recent play into printable worksheets with answer keys. THE LEARNING SYSTEM • More than 1,100 facts, from small sums to sums in the hundreds and times tables 1 to 12, each tracked on its own. • Review uses spaced repetition built on the SM-2 algorithm. Most missed facts return a few questions later and again the next day. Known facts return at widening intervals, out to months. • Every answer is recalled and typed, never chosen from a list. After a miss, the right answer is shown and typed in, and a helper card can show one way to work it out. • Five levels per operation move up and ease back on their own. Times tables build in a deliberate order, starting with 1, 2 and 10 and saving the hardest 11s and 12s for last. • Levels, the review schedule and the Progress count are based on right and wrong answers, never on answer time. PRINTABLE WORKSHEETS Open Parents, then Worksheets. Each sheet has 40 questions built from the past month of play: a few tricky facts, repeated among related and familiar ones, plus a separate answer key. With few misses, it makes a balanced review sheet instead. Every sheet is a PDF made on the device, in A4 or US Letter, ready to save, share, or print. Worksheets unlock after a little play. PROGRESS In Parents, opened with a 4-digit code, Progress counts a fact as known once it is answered right at least 3 times and at least 7 times in 10. It also shows each math level and recent first tries. ON THE ISLAND Every 15 right answers, one of 20 friendly beach characters drops by for a boss round. Collect 80 stickers, unlock new pets, and gear up your favorite characters along the way. Works offline, so a little island adventure can come along anywhere. No ads, no purchases, no accounts, no data collected.
