Studio-clear spatial voice brings every word, laugh and breath up close, and you never stare at yourself: only their face fills your screen. Every call is end-to-end encrypted. EASY TO CALL • Your people are faces on your home screen, with their first names. Tap one to call. • Video or voice calls, between iPhone, iPad and Mac. • Calls ring even when Kin is closed or your phone is locked. • Missed a call? Tap Call back. • Share your Kin handle or your invite link, and they can call you. MADE FOR FACE TO FACE • Clear voice: Kin cleans up every voice right on the phone, so the people you call sound clear and close. • No self view: you look at them, not at yourself. Want a quick look? See yourself for five seconds. • Pause: one tap pauses your picture and voice together. • Group calls: add someone, up to four of you. • Spatial audio: with headphones, voices come from where people are. • The screen stays on during a call, upright or sideways. TOGETHER • Watch together: a video in step on both phones, or a countdown to press play at the same moment. • Share your screen, and point or draw on what they share. • Keep the last 30 seconds: save the end of a call as one clip, only for you. • Record a call: it stays locked inside Kin, on your device. The other person always sees when anything is recorded. WHEN THEY CAN'T PICK UP • Leave a voice note or a video message of any length. • Free to talk: let your people know you're free right now. • Drop-in calls: if you both switch it on, Kin rings you both when you're both free. • Wake-up message: wake someone with your voice instead of a ringtone, if they allow it. • Auto-answer: for your closest people, a call opens after a countdown you can cancel. Only when you both switch it on. SAFE BY DEFAULT • Strangers can't call you. They can send one short request video, and you decide. • A video from someone new starts blurred and silent until you tap it. • Block or report anyone, any time. • Lock Kin with Face ID. • Delete my Kin handle removes your account and its data. PRIVATE Calls, voice notes and video messages are end-to-end encrypted, locked with keys only the two of you hold, so we can never see or hear them.
