What’s new

Version 1.6 · Updated October 17, 2026

Thanks everyone for downloading Japanese Hiragana! In this update, we've made one small change behind the scenes, so we could film the app for its new App Store videos. Lights, camera, あ: Our App Store page now has short videos that show the app at work, from hearing a kana to tracing it and finishing a quiz. To film them, we gave the app a special recording mode that only our own test tools can turn on. Nothing changes in the app you use every day, although あ has been practicing its best side for the camera. Your feedback helps us improve your experience through ongoing updates. Let us know what you think of this update by writing a review in the App Store. Thank you for your feedback and support.
