Nokhatha

Nokhatha reminds you to look after your home and your car and keeps an eye on your subscriptions and your documents, with every date set to the Gulf's traditional year from Suhail to Al-Kulaibain instead of a generic calendar that knows nothing about our summer or the Bawarih winds. AC filters come every month and every two weeks through the heat and the Bawarih, AC servicing lands before Al-Kinna, the roof and drains get checked before Al-Wasm, the water heater before Al-Murabbaniya, and tires, battery and the car's AC before the heat. • Home: ACs, water tank and filter, heater, roof, safety, pest control and bills, with a list for every house, apartment, chalet, farm or jakhoor • Car: oil and filters by kilometres or time, whichever comes first, an odometer estimated from your readings, and when the registration comes due, the renewal path in the right order for your country with its official links, and the tires’ age from their date code • Subscriptions: what you pay each month and year, a question before every renewal about whether you still use it, and a free trial that never turns paid without you knowing • Documents: ID, passport, licence, residency and health cover for you, the family and the household staff, each with its own lead; we keep the name and the date only • Weather: the temperature with dust, rain and heat alerts for your area, where dust is judged against what is usual for your place • Ramadan and Eid: the Hijri date on your day, a countdown to Ramadan and both Eids, a checklist to ready the house before Ramadan, and a reminder a week before your zakat anniversary and on the day • The nokhatha's voice: every season has a short word you can hear with one tap • The week: a ready message with the week's dates to send to the household, and each person's own week once you note who does what • And more: warranties with a receipt photo, your technicians with call and WhatsApp, a checklist before the trip, the year's spending with the power bill month by month, a travel mode that keeps reminders quiet until you are back, the Friday letter with the week ahead, and the year dial Your privacy is kept: no account, no server, no ads and no tracking.
