About Mediatrix: Rosary in Latin

Mediatrix is the Holy Rosary, prayed aloud. Say Our Ladies Rosary aloud and each word turns to gold as you say it, in English or in Latin. When a prayer is finished the beads move on by themselves. Or pray in silence, and the app keeps your place on a drawn rosary while you keep your mind on the mystery. LATIN, DONE PROPERLY Every prayer of the Rosary in the Latin of the Church, with its English beneath. Under each Latin word, how to say it — hódie is OH-dee-eh — in the Roman pronunciation, so that you can pray the Pater Noster and the Ave Maria yourself rather than listen to someone else pray them. Switch between English and Latin at any moment, mid-decade. TWO CALENDARS, ONE CHURCH Choose the 1962 Roman Calendar of the Traditional Latin Mass, or the modern General Roman Calendar. Either way there is a saint or a feast for every day of the year, with the story of their life, the color of the day, and a prayer to them that you can add to the end of your Rosary. Ember days, vigils, octaves and the movable feasts are all worked out for you, and the great feasts have paintings of their own. THE MYSTERIES The traditional fifteen mysteries, or all twenty with the Luminous, on the traditional weekly schedule or St. John Paul II's, with the seasonal Sundays if you keep them. Each mystery has its painting, its fruit, its Scripture (Douay-Rheims and Vulgate, a tap away) and a meditation. INTENTIONS Offer the whole Rosary, or each decade, for someone or something. They are shown as you pray and kept with your history. MORE THAN THE FIVE DECADES The Fátima prayer, the prayer to St Michael, and a treasury of concluding prayers to add before the Salve Regina — the Memorare, the Litany of Loreto, the prayer to St Joseph, St Pius X's prayer to Mary Co-Redemptrix, the Anima Christi and more, each with its history — or write your own. REMINDERS AND WIDGETS A reminder to pray on the days you choose, a morning notice of the day's mysteries and feast, and notices of the great feasts. Widgets for the home screen and lock screen show today's mysteries with their painting, or the saint of the day; the new full-height widget shows both. MADE LIKE A BOOK OF HOURS Gothic arches, illuminated initials, gold leaf and vellum; the paintings of Caravaggio, Fra Angelico, Murillo and Velázquez; the type of the old missals. The gilding shimmers as you tilt the phone. The history of the Rosary, from St Dominic to Lepanto to Fátima, is told through the paintings the first time you open the app. YOURS ALONE No account.
