waited – pictures with friends

Some photos are worth the wait. waited is a social photo app: you send photos to your friends, and they have to wait before they can see them. Unless they take on your challenges… HOW IT WORKS • Take a photo, or pick one from your gallery. • Choose how long your friends will wait: from 1 hour to 30 days, or make it instant if you’re in a hurry. • Add challenges: “Send me a voice note”, “Call me tonight”… In “Challenges only” mode, the photo only opens once all your challenges are done and approved. • Send it to one or more friends, or as a link to someone who doesn’t have the app yet. FOUR WAYS TO UNLOCK IT • Wait: the countdown ticks away on its own. • Take on the challenges: every approved challenge earns credits. 1 credit = 1 hour less waiting. • Send a photo back: 2 credits in your conversation, up to 3 times a day. • Use universal credits, earned by inviting your friends. The sender gets told you caved. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS • End-to-end encrypted on your phone: even our servers can’t see them. • By default: view once, screenshots blocked, nothing saved to the gallery. • Deleted automatically after 7 days by default (or 24 hours, or 30 days). FRIENDS ONLY, SAFELY • You only swap photos with friends who follow you back. • Reporting or blocking someone takes two taps. • For ages 16 and up. Nudity isn’t allowed. ACTUALLY FREE No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases: credits are earned by taking on challenges, sending photos and inviting your friends. What are you waiting for? Well, that’s kind of the point.
