About So Close Slide

One flick. That's the whole game. Send the cup down the board and stop it as close as you can to the red line. A shy flick looks silly. A hard one flies off and scores nothing. Wood hangs on. Ice barely notices you. Boards tilt, jump, and hide bumps, gaps and blocks. You feel the surface in your finger before the score shows up. One hundred boards, from a gentle slope to ice that will not slow down. If a board is being mean, spend a guide that shows the stop, a slick push, a grip that bites early, a clear for the junk, or a retry when you almost had it. No timer yelling at you. Just you, the cup, and how close you dare to get.
