No subscription is needed for the preview, and your original stays untouched. The preview is temporary; building a collection and exporting aged photos require Photories Plus. Choose photographs that matter to you and build a personal collection. Their look develops from the date they were taken, with the character of an aging print. An older photograph has its own history from the moment you import it. YOUR COLLECTION, AT YOUR PACE Browse photographs by year and month, then open a photograph to enjoy it on its own. Revisit memories from this day in earlier years. A DARKROOM FOR YOUR LOOK Set up the aging style in the Darkroom. Adjust the intensity and grain, preview how a photograph could look over time, then save the look for your collection. ORIGINALS STAY UNCHANGED Photories creates its effects on your device without changing your source photographs. Whole-library imports link to photographs in Apple Photos to use less app storage; selected-photo imports keep a local original copy. Linked photographs need continued Photos access and may need an internet connection when stored in iCloud. Export an aged image or your original when you want to keep or share it. A SMALL REMINDER OF ANOTHER YEAR Turn on optional daily memories to receive a local notification when photographs in your imported collection match today's date in an earlier year. The notification tells you how many are waiting. Delivery depends on your device settings; opening Photories refreshes upcoming reminders. PRIVATE PHOTOGRAPHS Your photographs are not uploaded to a Photories server. Optional Google install reporting is off until you choose to allow it. You can turn it off in Collection settings; your photographs and their details are never included. Purchases are handled through the App Store and our subscription provider. Device backups and destinations you choose for exports follow their own settings. PHOTORIES SUBSCRIPTION Photories Plus unlocks personal collection viewing, aging effects, imports, saved Darkroom looks, date corrections, daily memories and aged exports. Without an active subscription, the personal collection is locked but its entries and saved looks are retained. Bundled samples and Darkroom previews remain free. Use Collection settings → Recover or remove originals to export available originals or remove Photories entries and app-owned copies without subscribing. Removing an entry does not delete its source photograph from Apple Photos. Linked originals remain subject to Photos access and availability. After resubscribing, your collection uses its saved looks and capture dates again. Choose a monthly or yearly subscription. The price and billing period are shown before purchase, in your local currency. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. Eligible new subscribers can try Photories Plus free for 7 days. After the trial, the selected monthly or yearly subscription renews at the price shown before purchase unless cancelled. Eligibility is determined by the app store. Photories does not provide a cloud backup or photo-library sync service. Keep your source photographs and important exports somewhere safe.
