About Hazmat ERG Guide & Placards
Hazora puts the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG 2024) on your iPhone for the first minutes of a hazardous materials incident. The whole guidebook works offline, with no signal and no account. FIND THE MATERIAL FAST • Type the four-digit UN/NA number from the orange panel, placard or shipping paper right onto the panel on the home screen, or search by material name • Every entry of the ERG's blue list, with its guide number and polymerization flag • Toxic inhalation hazard (TIH) materials are marked so you never miss the distance table • Hazard number decoder: type the top number of the orange ADR panel (33, X423, 268) and see what it means ALL 62 ORANGE GUIDES Potential hazards, public safety and emergency response for every guide, exactly as published in the ERG, in English, Spanish and French. HOW FAR TO KEEP PEOPLE BACK • Table 1: initial isolation and downwind protective distances for small and large spills, day and night • Table 2: materials that produce toxic gases when spilled in water • Table 3: large spills of six common TIH gases by container type and wind speed • Metric and imperial values exactly as printed in the ERG WHEN THE ID NUMBER IS UNKNOWN Placard table with the guide to use for each placard, plus general first aid and 24-hour emergency response numbers. FREE AND PRO All ERG content stays free: lookup, every guide, every distance table, placards and first aid. The free plan also includes 3 camera scans or map zones every 7 days, 3 pinned materials and your last 3 lookups. Hazora Pro removes those limits: • Read a placard or orange panel with the camera: the number is recognized on your iPhone and opens its entry • See the isolation circle and downwind protective zone on a map around your position. You set the wind direction yourself, or face into the wind and the compass reads it • Pin every load you carry and keep your full lookup history Pro is available weekly, monthly or yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew. Hazora is not an official ERG publication and is not affiliated with or endorsed by PHMSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Transport Canada or SICT Mexico. The ERG is for the initial phase of a transportation incident; it does not replace your agency's procedures, training or the emergency response number on the shipping paper. What’s new
Version 1.2.0 · Updated October 22, 2026
Safety update. The emergency button now dials the number for your phone's region (112 in Europe, 999 in the UK, 000 in Australia, 119 in Japan) instead of always 911. When a material has separate land and water rows, the larger distance now opens first. 12 Table 1 distances and the HF gas for UN 1745 and 1746 in Table 2 were corrected to match the ERG 2024. Hazard numbers: type the top number of the orange ADR panel (33, X423, 268) and see what it means; the scanner now reads both rows. Search finds Spanish and French ERG names, more number formats and small typos. Explosives (Class 1) get their own card. Materials not in Table 1 show the guide's evacuation distances, and you can put a Table 3 container on the map. The map waits for you to set the wind. New hotlines for Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Chile. A new look made for sunlight and gloves, with a night mode.
