About DiaSnap
DiaSnap helps you understand what's in your food in seconds. Take a photo of your meal, and DiaSnap's AI estimates: - Carbohydrates - XE (bread units) — the standard unit used in diabetes meal planning - Calories - Protein, fat, and glycemic index Why DiaSnap: - Fast photo-based analysis — no manual food database searching - Manual entry option if you'd rather type in your meal - A simple food diary to track what you eat over time DiaSnap is a nutrition estimation tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or insulin dosing recommendations. All figures are estimates — review them with your doctor or diabetes care team before making treatment decisions. To view an analysis result, you may be asked to watch a short video ad. It helps keep the app free.
What’s new
Version 1.3.0 · Updated October 19, 2026
New design and new tools for everyday diabetes management: - Glucose diary — log your readings with the time and context (fasting, before or after a meal), and see a 7-day chart. - Medication marks — note when you took insulin or pills. - Family — let a parent, child or loved one follow your food diary, glucose and medication marks. You approve every request and can revoke access at any time. - Reminders — daily notifications for glucose checks, medication and your food diary. - Report for your doctor — build a summary on your phone and share it the way you choose. - Diabetes school — short, general guides. - More accurate food analysis: better calorie and macro checks, and several dishes on one plate are now recognized separately. - Recent dishes in manual entry — repeat a meal in one tap. DiaSnap is not a medical device and does not replace your doctor. Treatment decisions are made together with your doctor.
