About SwingOut: Calm Logic Puzzle

Tap a piece and it swings ninety degrees around its knob. If the arc it sweeps through is empty, the piece swings off the board. If anything stands in the way, the move is blocked. Clear the board and the level is done. That is the entire rule. Everything after it is arrangement. SwingOut is a puzzle about letting things go, one piece at a time. No timer counts down, no daily quest expires, no energy bar refills while you wait. Nothing hurries you. The Board Opens Slowly 120 levels, every one of them solvable, because we checked all 120 before we shipped. The first boards teach the rule in about ten seconds. Then they start asking real questions. After a few levels you stop looking at the pieces and start looking at the empty space, because empty space is the only thing that lets anything move. You learn to read a board backwards: which piece has to leave last, which one is quietly blocking three others. Every tenth level, the pieces swing the other way, counterclockwise, and the map in your head has to be redrawn. Further in, you meet pieces that need two swings to get out, so you have to open a path for a move that has not happened yet, and the boards themselves grow. After level 100, gates block swings; clear the key piece to open its gate. Four bonus levels put the whole board on a turntable. Stars For A Clean Line Each level starts with three lives. A blocked move, one the board will not allow, costs a life. Finish with no blocked moves for three stars; one blocked move leaves you two, and two leaves one. If the lives run out, you can watch a short video to keep going right where you were, or simply start the level over. 360 stars in all, and 32 achievements that track how you play, not how long you grind. Playing well earns rewards — an extra life, a hammer that removes a piece of your choice, an extra hint — in score chests and a daily gift. If a board stops making sense, a free hint on the early levels points at a piece you can still move. Put the phone down in the middle of a level, come back tomorrow, and the board is exactly where you left it. Made To Be Held Warm pastel color on cream, soft rounded pieces with a little depth to them, and a rounded typeface that never raises its voice. Seven themes come with the game — Classic, Sunset, Mint, Lavender, Ocean, Midnight and Aurum — and you can change them whenever you like. The sound was made the same way: a kalimba loop underneath, small wooden-toy clicks for every swing, a light haptic tap under your thumb. All of it can be switched off in settings, so the game is quiet enough to play next to someone sleeping. What Is And Is Not In It No pop-ups. No banners. Nothing interrupts you between levels. The only advertising is a short video you can choose to watch for three more lives or another hint — and it never plays unless you ask for it. There is one thing you can buy, and only one: SwingOut Premium, a single purchase for three lives on every retry, one continue per level that keeps your board, three hints every try and two extra themes, Midnight Gold and Terracotta. It is shared with your family, and the game is complete without it. There is no account, no sign-in, and no email address. The game plays offline, on a plane or on the subway; only the optional reward video needs a connection. Your progress is kept on your device.
