About PRD Phantom Trace

Phantom Trace is the GPS built for off-road racing teams. Pre-run the course, mark every hazard at speed, and keep the race car, pre-runners and chase crews on the same map. PRE-RUN AND MARK THE COURSE - One big START TRACK button: recording starts in your active folder - Drop waypoints in one tap, right where the crosshair points - Race-call presets (turns, rocks, ditches, jumps, gates and more) with color-coded markers - Hold any quick call to rename it or add your own second-step options, like KEEP LEFT / KEEP RIGHT - Names, notes and photos on any waypoint - VCPs get their range ring automatically - Smooth tracks from a crawl to 150 mph, with clean corners and no spikes - The map stays locked while you drive, so a bump never moves it. Double-tap to pan RACE WITH YOUR TEAM - Create a team and invite members with a code, QR code or link - See every teammate's live position on the map - Push-to-talk voice messages to the whole team - Send waypoints and tracks straight to a teammate's inbox VOICE CALLOUTS - Hear pace notes read out as you approach them, so your eyes stay on the terrain - Alert distance, and MPH or KPH, to match how you drive MAPS THAT WORK OUT THERE - Satellite, hybrid and a low-distraction chart style - Dirt roads and trails drawn over the imagery when you zoom in - Download satellite maps along a course before you lose signal - Keeps working with no signal and syncs when you're back in range WORKS WITH YOUR GEAR - Import and export GPX and KML - Import and export USR files for Lowrance units, with VCP rings included - Tracks and colors in folders, imported into the folder you choose PRIVACY - Sign in with Apple - Your location is only used while the app is open, and is shared only with your own team - Delete your account and all your data anytime from Settings SUBSCRIPTION Phantom Trace Pro gives full access to the app and renews monthly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. What’s new

Version 1.0.4 · Updated October 17, 2026

iPad support. The app now fills the screen and rotates both ways, so a tablet mounted in the dash works in any position. More detail offline. Map downloads now go to zoom 18 — rocks, ruts and small washes, with no signal. Esri satellite imagery with your own ArcGIS key, from Settings. Invite your crew: earn 2 free days for every person who joins your team with your code and subscribes. The offline warning is now a small badge instead of a bar across the map.
