About HTML Code Playground

HTML Code Playground — Review Notes for version 1.0.1 (4) Guideline 5.1.2(i) — Privacy and ATT On a fresh install of the free iOS app, Google UMP presents a GDPR consent form where required. If the user consents to the personalized advertising purposes, the iOS App Tracking Transparency system prompt appears after that form and before Google Mobile Ads initializes. Where a GDPR form is not required, ATT is requested during ad startup. If the user declines GDPR consent, the app does not request ATT for that flow. If ATT is denied, Firebase Analytics collection remains disabled. Ad requests are configured as non-personalized. The ATT request concerns use of the device identifier for advertising measurement. The prompt is not shown to Premium users or when ads are disabled, because the ad flow is not started. No account or sign-in is required to review the free app. Guideline 2.5.2 — HTML/CSS/JavaScript Editor HTML Code Playground is an educational developer tool for creating, editing, learning, and testing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Project source files and included templates are visible and editable in the built-in editor. Preview renders the selected project's web content inside an embedded WebView; it does not install code or change the app's native functionality. Projects and templates are stored locally. Users can explicitly import their own HTML or ZIP project through the Files picker, then view and edit its project files. User-authored HTML may reference external web resources, which remain web content in the preview. The app has no remote system for delivering code that changes its native features. To review: launch the app, create a project or open a template, edit an HTML/CSS/JavaScript file, tap Preview, then return to the editor and change the source.
