About Beh Laibu
Beh Laibu is a family tree for families. A beh is a clan. Beh Laibu lets your family record it properly — every person, every generation, in one place that stays readable long after the elders who remember it are gone. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Build your tree person by person, from the founder down • Record birth and death years, places, occupations, and life stories • Attach photographs to the people they belong to • Invite relatives to help, with control over who can edit • Search across every person in the tree • Read it in Zomi or English PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Every new tree is private. Nobody sees it without an invitation or an access code from you. FREE, FOR EVERY FAMILY Beh Laibu costs nothing. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no feature behind a payment. It is funded by sponsorship. There are no advertisements and no tracking cookies. SEE IT FIRST You can browse a complete example family — seven generations — without creating anything or signing in.
What’s new
Version 1.5.2 · Updated September 28, 2026
A NEW WAY TO READ A TREE Tree, Outline and now Timeline. The timeline puts people on an axis of time instead of descent, so you can see which generations overlapped and who was alive at the same moment. Estimated years are drawn differently from recorded ones, so you always know which is which. A NEW TREE ANYONE CAN OPEN Families of Scripture — 549 people across 73 generations, Adam to Jesus, compiled verse by verse. No account needed to read it. YOUR LANGUAGE, ASKED ONCE The app asks for Zomi or English on first launch instead of guessing, and more of it is written in Zomi than before. Change it any time from the landing page or Profile → Language. A CLEARER FIRST SCREEN The opening screen now leads with the trees you can actually open and says plainly what the app does — create a Beh, connect it to a larger clan, invite relatives, keep living people's details private.
