About LensAlert: AI Glasses Detector

Camera glasses look like ordinary glasses. What gives them away is the Bluetooth advertisement they broadcast before they connect to anything, and LensAlert is built to read exactly that — then to be straight with you about the rest. It tells you two things: how well a nearby signal matches a known smart-glasses signature, and roughly how close it seems. Never more than that, and it says so on every screen that could be misread. WHAT YOU SEE • Signal field — likely glasses in one colour, every other Bluetooth device in another, each with a rough distance band • The reason behind the verdict — strong, likely or possible, and what actually matched: a manufacturer ID, a service UUID or an advertised name. The match is shown, not asserted • Proximity in feet or metres, as bands rather than an invented number • Sightings history, so a passer-by looks different from something that keeps coming back • Your Circle — label your own pair and your friends' so familiar frames never raise an alarm • Device Log — every Bluetooth device this iPhone can hear, with the raw advertisement fields the detector reads. Export it as CSV • Camera class, stated — display-only and audio-only eyewear is named, not alarmed. Frames without a camera are no reason to look up • Local alerts, snoozable for an hour or eight, a Home Screen widget, a Control Center toggle, and an Apple Watch companion • Demo signals, so you can see how detection behaves when nothing is broadcasting nearby WHY IT SOMETIMES HEARS NOTHING This part lives in the product, not only in this description. Glasses advertise loudest while powering on, while pairing, and when they leave the case. A pair already connected to its owner's phone can stay quiet for long stretches — and a quiet room reads exactly like an empty one. Background detection is narrower still: iOS limits what any app may listen for while it is off screen. WHAT IT CANNOT DO • It cannot tell you whether anything is being recorded. Recording is not broadcast over Bluetooth. A signal means a device is nearby, and nothing about what its owner is doing with it. • It cannot tell you who is wearing them, and it cannot point a direction. One antenna cannot produce a bearing, so there is no arrow — an arrow would be a guess drawn as a fact. • Distance is inferred from signal strength alone. Bodies, walls and pockets move it dramatically. Read it as nearer or farther, not as a measurement. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no ads, no analytics SDK, no location, no network calls to us. Detection runs entirely on this device, and the Device Log stays here unless you export it yourself. The App Privacy section above says Data Not Collected because it is literally true: we run no server that could receive it. RECOGNISED SIGNATURES Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta, Snap Spectacles, Even Realities, Brilliant Labs, RayNeo, Vuzix, and a widening set of camera-equipped eyewear — matched on manufacturer IDs, service UUIDs and advertised-name patterns, not a single brand list. FREE AND PRO Scanning with the app open is free, permanently, and it is the whole detector: not a trial and not a reduced engine. Pro covers the hours you are not looking at the screen — alerts while the app is closed, the Live Activity, sightings history, labels for glasses you already know, and the widget. Pro does not improve detection. The same engine runs for everyone. LensAlert Pro is offered as a weekly or a yearly subscription. The price is shown in your local currency before you confirm, and payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends; manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ LensAlert is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Meta Platforms, Luxottica, Ray-Ban, Oakley or Snap.
