Burbles turns the cars you see on the street into a collection worth keeping. Photograph a car you spot. Burbles identifies the generation and the chassis code, and the card joins your binder. That is the whole loop — and everything else is built on it. WHAT MAKES A CARD • Five rarity tiers, with every card printing the reason for its own. A tier comes from verified production volume and spot frequency, not an arbitrary rating. If there's no factual basis yet, it says so. • Cards identify true generations — XV80, FL5, A90 — because a generation is what can be told apart honestly. Nobody can read an exact model year off a photo, so Burbles does not pretend to. • Rare and above catch the light. Legendary is full art. Every card exports as an image with its finish intact. SPECS YOU CAN ARGUE WITH • Horsepower, torque, 0–60, curb weight, production numbers, MSRP. Every value carries its source; estimates are explicitly marked, and unpublished numbers stay blank rather than borrowed from the trim beside it. • Compare any two cars side by side. Missing values are shown as differences, never quietly folded into an "identical" row. Gaps in data are information too. Drivetrain and engine layouts get no winner — they are engineering choices, not scores. SETS, AND SOMETHING TO FINISH Sets are curated by hand with strict, verifiable criteria: Golden Era Classics, Performance Icons, First Sports Car. Halfway earns recognition; complete earns more. UNDER THE HOOD Twelve engine layouts illustrated as schematics you peel back layer by layer — cam cover, head and cams, block and pistons, crankshaft, oil pan. The engines powering cards in your collection are highlighted first. DREAM GARAGE Three slots, not fifty: the commuter, the weekend backroad car, and the tow rig. Enter the weekly garage challenge, where the editor sets one constraint and members vote on each other's lineups. DAILY MINI-GAMES Close-up, Sound Check, Battle, Trivia. Fast daily challenges pulled straight from the catalog — the answer is always a real car you could meet on the street. THE PADDOCK (COMMUNITY) Photos, verified builds, and long-running debates on a wall that belongs to the cars rather than follower counts. Nods instead of likes. Real builds tied to vehicles members actually own. No black-box algorithmic feeds — follow members whose taste you respect. RANK Bronze, Silver, Chrome, Gold. Rank comes purely from days out spotting in the wild, never pay-to-win. HONEST BY DEFAULT No ads. No tracking. No analytics SDKs. Spot photos remain private to your account unless you publish them. Location is requested only when saving a spot; exact coordinates are purged after 90 days, and other members only ever see general neighborhood areas.
