About GlyphSnap: Photo to Font

Create something unmistakably yours. GlyphSnap turns handwriting, lettering, sketches, and symbols into a font you can use. Draw characters with your finger or Apple Pencil, photograph lettering on paper, or mix both methods in one project. TRACE ANY FONT ON YOUR IPHONE Choose a system or installed font as your tracing guide. Keep one font across your alphabet, or switch the guide for individual characters to make a new combination. DRAW AND REFINE Sketch freehand or build letters with Bezier paths and editable anchors. Subtract circles, rectangles, or closed paths from your lettering. See and edit your cutouts, then merge them into one character outline. Adjust strokes and fills, or add Distress texture to individual letters with controls for amount, chip size, and edge wear. PHOTOGRAPH YOUR LETTERING Take or choose a photo of handwriting or artwork. GlyphSnap finds visible characters and suggests labels. Review each result, correct guesses, and use SNIP tools where a shape needs attention. MIX PHOTO AND DRAW Add missing characters by drawing them or replace any photo glyph. Everything stays together in one font. PREVIEW AND EXPORT Review your glyphs, adjust their weight, and preview your typeface with your own text. Export OTF, TTF, or WOFF; save to Files, share to another device, or return to your saved GlyphSnap project later. MAKE PREVIEW ART Type a message in your font, choose colors, and save or share an image. DISCOVER THE GALLERY Browse fonts made by other GlyphSnap users. Your work stays private unless you choose to submit it. From a single drawn letter to a complete alphabet, GlyphSnap gives you room to make type that feels like yours.
