Drizzo: Weather & Rain Radar

Drizzo shows the weather outside as a living cartoon. The sun sits where it really is, clouds roll in before the rain, the turbine spins at today's wind. Behind the picture is a serious forecast. NEW IN DRIZZO • Trips. Type "Split via Ljubljana, 1–8 October" and Drizzo rates every day of the stay, shows how sure the forecast is, and suggests a better week if there is one. Months ahead it uses typical weather; sixteen days out the real forecast takes over, and Drizzo tells you when something changes. • The drive, checked. One full-screen map with the road coloured by the weather you'll meet: rain, fog, snow on the passes, black ice, frost and crosswind for your vehicle, at the hour you'll be there, with official warnings on the way. Drizzo tries leaving earlier and later and tells you the best time to go. Breaks come with a real place to stop, chargers first for an electric car, and when a short pause lets the rain pass, Drizzo suggests it so you arrive dry. • On the road. After "I'm leaving" the map follows your car, and the drive stays on your Lock Screen, in CarPlay and on Apple Watch. Once you've arrived, see how the forecast did against what radar saw on your road. Repeat a drive on weekdays and Drizzo watches your commute; share a drive with a link. • Map layers. Rain from national radar and satellites, wind, temperature and cloud cover, on the rain map and along your drive. RAIN, MINUTE BY MINUTE A 15-minute nowcast tells you when rain starts and when it eases, with a Live Activity on your Lock Screen while it does. OFFICIAL WARNINGS, DELIVERED ONCE Alerts from your national weather service (NWS, DWD, Meteoalarm, JMA, KMA and others), plus rain, thunderstorm, heat, cold and earthquake notices. Each is announced a single time, a few a day at most, and quiet hours hold everything but life-threatening warnings until morning. AN ASSISTANT THAT STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE Ask "do I need a jacket tonight?" and get an answer from Apple Intelligence, on device, with no account. Every number is checked against the forecast. NUMBERS ABOUT YOU Burn time for your skin type instead of a generic UV "high", six pollen species in plain language, air quality by pollutant, pressure swings for migraine days, the best hours to run, ride or hang the laundry.
