About Escape Game: Ryo
Seeking relief from the summer heat, you stumble upon a mysterious retreat that looks just like a town from the Edo period. Explore the traditional Japanese town, uncover hidden clues, solve its puzzles, and find your way out. “Escape Game: Ryo” is a Japanese-style escape game set in a mysterious Edo town. Tap around to investigate, collect items and clues, and solve a variety of puzzles and mechanisms as you explore. ◆ STORY It is the middle of a record-breaking summer heat wave. On TV, the news reports the disappearance of a young girl, followed by a weather forecast warning of temperatures reaching 40°C. “It’s so hot… I wish I could go somewhere cool.” Just then, a mysterious flyer drifts down in front of you. It advertises a place called— “Ryo,” a retreat from the summer heat. Drawn by the promise of a cool escape, you decide to visit the theme park hidden deep in the mountains. You drive along a mountain road and pass through an unfamiliar tunnel. On the other side, you find yourself in a town that seems to have come straight out of the Edo period. Wind chimes, folding fans, goldfish, morning glories, barley tea, traditional sweets… The town is filled with the refreshing sights and sounds of a Japanese summer. But something about this place feels strange… Explore the town, solve the mysteries hidden throughout it, and uncover the secret behind this mysterious retreat. ◆ GAME FEATURES ・A traditional Japanese escape game set in an Edo-style town ・A refreshing summer theme inspired by Japanese culture ・Wind chimes, folding fans, goldfish, morning glories, and many other traditional motifs ・Classic escape-room puzzles involving items and hidden mechanisms ・A variety of puzzles that test your observation and intuition ・Simple tap controls that are easy for beginners to enjoy ・Hints are available if you get stuck ・Play all the way to the end for free ◆ HOW TO PLAY The controls are simple.
