SLM GP is a private general practice in the heart of Liverpool city centre, offering appointments at the times when getting to your regular GP is hardest — evenings and weekends, in person or remotely. Appointments are available face to face or remotely. NOT SURE WHAT YOU NEED? Start from what is actually going on — "something new has come up", "it is complicated", "I need something in writing" — and the app points you to the right appointment, with the price already shown. CLEAR PRICING A 15 minute GP appointment is £50 and a 30 minute appointment is £95. Health packages, medicals, letters and paperwork are all listed with their prices. If your doctor suggests anything further, the cost is explained before it is arranged. SCANS IN THE SAME BUILDING The practice sits inside the Vista Health Liverpool Diagnostic Centre, so X-ray, ultrasound and MRI are steps away from the consulting room. Where a scan is clinically appropriate it can often happen the same or next day. YOUR FIRST VISIT Which door to use, what to bring, what happens during the appointment and what it costs — so nothing is a surprise. WHO WE WORK WITH The clinics and specialists we refer to, from imaging and blood testing to physiotherapy, psychology and travel vaccines. A SMALL, FAMILY-OWNED PRACTICE SLM GP was established by brothers Dr Thomas and Dr Samuel Newton, with over two decades of combined NHS experience between them. The team is deliberately small, so the same doctors look after you each time. The practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission. Seeing us privately does not affect your NHS registration. NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING There is no sign-in. The app does not collect your name, contact details or any health information, and there is no analytics or tracking of any kind.
