Recallo: Learn Languages

Recallo is a vocabulary trainer for German and Spanish, on iPhone and iPad. Every day it quizzes you on the words that are due and teaches you new ones. TWO LANGUAGES, ONE APP Each language has its own learning path, its own dictionary and its own streak. Switch with the flag next to the logo. Your first course is free, more come with Premium. RECALL, NOT RECOGNITION You type the word yourself, as a translation or as the gap in an example sentence. What you actively recall stays with you far longer than what you merely recognize on a card. German nouns come with their article, and Recallo tells you when it's missing or an umlaut is off. START WHERE YOU ARE Tell Recallo roughly where you stand, from A1 to C1. It starts there and learns what you already know as you go. Words you know get skipped. REVIEWS AT THE RIGHT MOMENT How often a word comes back depends on you. Know it, and the next review moves further out. Get it wrong, and it comes back soon. You never drill lists you already know. GRAMMAR IN CONTEXT German verbs come up in the form the sentence needs, like gepasst instead of passen, and the tenses grow with your level: no past perfect while you're still at A1. In Spanish you drill every tense, with conjugation tables for nearly 5,000 verbs. LEARNING TIPS False friends like Handy and handy, bekommen and become, ser and estar: thousands of words come with a learning tip written for English speakers. It sits as a flashcard right next to the answer. A REAL DICTIONARY Over 70,000 entries for German and nearly 100,000 for Spanish, all with English meanings, example sentences, every form and audio. Plus over 5,000 Spanish idioms and 223 proverbs. AI TUTOR When do you say seit and when vor? Ask the AI tutor. It answers in English, with examples, and can turn the answer into a flashcard that joins your reviews. TURBO MODE Before a test or a trip, learn your own word lists as a pack, without breaks and separate from your daily plan. What sticks in Turbo counts for your learning plan too. YOUR OWN FLASHCARDS Rules, phrases, anything that isn't a single word: create your own question and answer cards. They follow the same review rhythm as your vocabulary. KEEP GOING A daily reminder, a streak for every day you reach your goal, and streak freezes that cover a missed day. FREE AND PREMIUM You can use Recallo for free and without ads: one language, the dictionary, pronunciation and daily reviews. Free limits the pace to 5 new words a day, conjugation to the present tense and the AI tutor to three questions a day. Premium lifts the limits: more languages, up to 100 new words a day, every tense, the AI tutor without a daily limit, more Turbo packs and streak freezes. Recallo Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
