Cover for a colleague: when a teacher can't come, his circle doesn't stop. • Cover for me. A teacher who will be away finds a colleague from his own mosque by mobile number, chooses the days — one day, two, three or a week — and adds a note ("Ahmad is revising an-Naba'"). The request is sent with one tap, and can be passed on WhatsApp too. • The colleague sees the request at the top of his desk and accepts or declines. Once he accepts, the absent teacher's circle appears in his circle list, marked as covering, and he records attendance, memorisation, recitation and revision for those students — in his own name, so the record always says who was actually there. • The cover ends by itself on its last day. It also ends if either teacher cancels it, or if the circle is handed to another teacher. The covering teacher can only record on the covered days, and he cannot change the students' tracks — those remain their own teacher's to set. • The mosque supervisor sees every cover in the mosque — who is covering for whom, and until when — and can end any of them.
