Fear & Greed Index Monitor shows three views in one gauge: • Stocks: the CNN Fear & Greed Index (CNN Business) • Crypto: the Crypto Fear & Greed Index (alternative.me) • The economy: 19 economic indicators (macro) from Europe and the US Swipe or tap to switch between them; the needle swings to the new value. ECONOMIC INDICATORS FROM THE SOURCE Inflation, policy rates, yield curves, jobs, growth and financial stress – straight from the European Central Bank, Eurostat, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Treasury, the Office of Financial Research and FRED. Every indicator shows where it stands right now (say, "At target" or "Elevated"), when it was last published and how it has moved: over one year, five years or its full available history. A filter shows only Europe or only the US, and the gauge shows financial stress. YOUR ALERTS, EVALUATED SERVER-SIDE Set thresholds for stocks and crypto ("notify me when the stocks index drops below 25") and get a push notification the moment the threshold is crossed – evaluated reliably on the server, even when the app is closed. Hysteresis prevents alert spam when the value hovers around your threshold, and configurable quiet hours keep your nights silent. No need to invent a number: a mood alert fires as soon as the index tips into a different band – say, from Fear to Neutral. Prefer one look per day? Switch on the optional daily summary at a time you choose. THE TREND, NOT JUST TODAY A history chart shows the last 90 days of both sentiment indices with their high and low – a single number says little, the movement behind it says a lot.
