Box-Clever

Box Clever is a general knowledge quiz with a daily league at its heart. THE DAILY QUIZ Every day there are ten new questions, and everyone in the world gets the same ten. They climb from easy to hard, with 20 seconds on the clock for each one. Harder questions are worth more, a run of right answers earns a streak bonus, and every second left on the clock is a point in your pocket — so a clean, quick round scores far more than a slow, careful one. Finish, and your score goes into today's league on Game Center, where you're ranked against everyone else who played. At midnight UTC the board wipes and a fresh ten arrive. Play every day to build a streak, and share your score with friends to see who's cleverest. PRACTICE WHENEVER YOU LIKE Outside the daily there are more than a thousand questions across eight subjects: History, Geography, Science & Nature, Arts & Literature, Film & TV, Music, Sport, and Food & Drink. Play a mixed Quick Quiz or pick a subject, with a timer if you want one and without if you don't. You won't see a question again until you've seen every other one first, and every answer comes with a short explanation, so a wrong guess still teaches you something. The daily questions are kept separate from practice, so practising never rehearses the day's league. KNOW WHERE YOU STAND Your home screen shows your lifetime accuracy and a rank to match, from Rookie to Genius, and breaks your results down by subject so you can see what you're strong at and what needs work. THE SMALL PRINT, HAPPILY • Works offline. The whole question bank is on your phone. • No account, no adverts, no tracking. The only thing that leaves your phone is your daily score, and only if you're signed in to Game Center. • Looks right in dark mode, and at home on iPad. Quiz questions, written for a British audience in the spirit of a good pub quiz: broad, fair, and occasionally sneaky.
