About Step Charge: Walk to Unlock

Walk to unlock your apps. Step Charge turns your steps into screen time. 100 steps = 1 minute. Walk, and your apps open. Skip it, and they stay blocked. No willpower needed — just a system that makes the trade honest. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the apps you want blocked. 2. Walk. Steps are read from Health automatically and become minutes (100 steps = 1 minute, 5,000 steps = 50 minutes). 3. Spend what you earned. Pick how long you want, and your apps unlock. When the time is up, they lock again. There is no "start walk" button. Your commute, your errands, your walk to lunch — every step counts. MADE FOR PEOPLE WHO • Look up an hour later and don't know where it went • Turn off Screen Time limits the moment they appear • Keep meaning to move more • Tried a digital detox and slid right back FEATURES Automatic charging Steps are read in the background and converted into minutes. Nothing to log, nothing to start. Block only what you choose Social media, video, games, whole categories, even websites. They stay blocked by default. Spend your minutes to use them for a while, and the block comes back when time runs out. Unlock in sessions Pick how many minutes you want. A Live Activity shows the time left on your Lock Screen, and the block returns when it ends. Widgets See your balance on the Home Screen and Lock Screen without opening the app. A cap that keeps it honest You can charge up to 50 minutes (5,000 steps) a day, and hold up to 350 minutes. Minutes expire 7 days after you earn them. No hoarding a week of scrolling. Emergency unlock, free Out of minutes? Once a day you can open your apps for 15 minutes. Write down why first, so you can look back on it later. Strict mode Locks the escape hatch: blocked apps can't be changed and data can't be deleted. Turning it off takes 24 hours. Characters Dress up the battery gauge with a dog, a cat, a fish and more — on your Home Screen, widgets and Lock Screen. PRICING Charging, blocking, widgets, Live Activity and the emergency unlock are free. Strict mode and the characters are a one-time purchase — no subscription. BEFORE YOU START • iPhone only. Health access is required to read your step count. • Screen Time access is required to block apps. It uses individual authorization, so you can revoke it anytime in iOS Settings. • No account, no sign-up. Steps and history stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. • Only your step count is read from Health. No location or other health data is used.
