About Categories Party: Word Game

One letter. One round. A country, a city, an animal, a thing - go! Categories is the pen-and-paper game your family already knows, rebuilt for the phone that sits in the middle of the table. Draw a letter, fill every category before the clock runs out, and hit STOP before anyone else does. WAYS TO PLAY - Pass and play: 2 to 6 people, one phone, no internet needed. The phone goes around the table. - Private rooms: start a room, share the code or the QR, play with friends anywhere. - Quick match: get dropped straight into a game with players around the world. - Solo against bots: practise on your own, fully offline. - Daily challenge: one letter, one round, one global leaderboard. Everybody plays the same one. - Letter Delivery: an arcade run where you drive a van, deliver letters and race the fuel gauge. FAIR SCORING, FINALLY Answers are judged on the server, so everyone in the room gets the same verdict on the same word. Accents, capital letters, extra spaces and a leading "The" or "FC" are forgiven for everyone alike. Only one with a correct answer? 20 points. Correct? 10. Somebody wrote the same thing? 5. And if you are sure the game got it wrong, you can appeal, and the round is scored again. MADE FOR REAL TABLES - STOP ends the round for everybody, and you can only press it once your own sheet is full. - The screen never dims in the middle of a round. - No ads inside a match. Not once. - Up to nine categories, the timer you want, or no timer at all. 21 LANGUAGES, 21 REAL WORD LISTS English, Czech, Slovak, German, Polish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Hungarian, Croatian, Serbian, Romanian, Dutch, Slovenian, Bulgarian, Greek, Arabic and Hebrew. Every language has its own alphabet rules and its own dictionary, not a translation of the English one. Play in one language and keep the menus in another. Free to play. Coins are earned, never bought.
