About Glow Catch
Ten pods light up. Tap the lit ones before they burn out — and never touch the one this chapter has forbidden. That is the whole rule, and it stops being easy around level nine. WHAT MAKES IT HARD Speed is the easy part. The hard part is stopping your thumb on the light you were not asked for. • Level 4 — purple arrives, and touching it costs you the run • Level 6 — two lit at once, and your eye has to split • Level 9 — colours flip mid-life, so muscle memory starts lying to you • Level 15 — rule levels: one colour is safe, every other one is a trap • Level 18 — fever bursts, where pods arrive twice as fast THE FORBIDDEN COLOUR MOVES Purple is the trap for sixty levels — long enough to stop being a rule and start being a reflex. Then the next act takes it away at the door, says so, and names another: red, then blue, then amber, then green. The last chapter of each act forbids two colours at once. Nothing marks them. The colour is the warning, and reading it is the game. If you cannot separate two of the six, one switch in settings puts a cross back on every trap. THE BOARD CHANGES SHAPE Not a grid that speeds up. Rectangle, diamond, triangle, hexagon, star, heart, ring, plus — eighteen formations, and the pod count moves with the shape, so each level is a different thing to read rather than the same one running faster. Every shape is drawn in code. The heart is an equation, not a picture. NINE KINDS OF LEVEL Catch a quota. Survive a clock. Beat one. Last with a single life. Read colour instead of reacting. Scan a full board instead of chasing one light. Play with no fuse ring at all and feel the timing instead of reading it. 300 levels in fifteen chapters and five acts, hand-tuned for the first stretch and generated after that, so the ladder does not run out. 900 stars to collect, and an endless mode that outlasts any of them. Free to play. Energy refills on its own, gold is earned by playing, and the ads you watch are ones you chose to watch. A single purchase removes the full-screen ones for good. Made by one person in Türkiye.
What’s new
Version 1.2 · Updated September 26, 2026
Colour is the game now. Purple is still the trap for the first sixty levels. After that each act names its own forbidden colour — red, blue, amber, green — and says so at its door, and the last chapter of every act forbids two at once. Two new lights, blue and amber, join the four. Nothing marks a trap any more: the colour is the warning. Settings has a switch that puts the cross back for anyone who needs it. Ads arrive with this version, and they are kept where they belong: one between levels, and one you choose to watch when you want another attempt. There is no banner — this game is played by tapping, and a strip along the bottom would cost you lives. Remove Ads is in the shop, and any purchase quiets them for a while on its own. iOS will ask whether the game may track you. Saying no changes which ads you see, not how many. Also in this version: • The game speaks seven languages, and follows the one your phone is in • The opening twenty levels no longer ask the same question twenty times — rule levels and a one-life level arrive inside the first chapter • The difficulty stopped going backwards at level 13 • A level that teaches something new gives you five seconds to read it, not three • A level keeps its own song instead of taking the next one on every attempt • The level map scrolls wherever you drag it, not only on a pod
