RCKSTAR Electric Guitar

RCKSTAR is an electric guitar school for children and adults. It runs entirely on the phone: offline, without an account and without an internet connection. EIGHT WORLDS, 42 LESSONS From “what is what on a guitar” through first riffs, power chords and open chords all the way to the pentatonic, solos and your first band. At the start the app asks your age and how long you have been playing, and picks the world to begin in — so you are neither bored nor drowning. Every earlier world stays open. 31 SONGS WITH TABS YOU CAN PLAY BACK From Smoke on the Water to Sultans of Swing. The guitar sound is built right on the phone, so you hear exactly what is written in the tab — distortion included. The tab and the sound come from the same data, so they cannot drift apart. PRACTICE PLANS Choose how much time you have today (5 to 30 minutes) and the app builds a plan from four blocks: warm-up, technique, riff of the day, song. Each one starts with instructions, and the clock only starts when you tap “Got it, let me practise” — reading does not eat your practice time. TUNER AND METRONOME The tuner listens to your guitar through the microphone, works out which string is sounding and says TIGHTEN, LOOSEN or SPOT ON in big letters. It handles Drop D, half step down and a chromatic mode. The metronome has tap tempo. Plus eleven chords with diagrams and sound. POINTS, RANKS AND BADGES Eight ranks from Rookie to Rockstar, 18 badges and a day-streak counter. ROCKOPEDIA Sixteen stories of how the stars began, twelve bands, six guitar brands, a glossary of 24 terms and a twenty-question quiz. EVERYTHING STAYS ON THE PHONE The app does not connect to the internet and collects no data. Progress stays on the device. The microphone is only used for tuning; the sound is measured and discarded — nothing is recorded. Czech and English. The app picks the language from your phone and you can switch it in the profile. Links to video lessons go to YouTube searches and open in Safari outside the app.
