About Isolait - Sensory Comfort

Real-time sound shaping for sensitive hearing. Turn down what overwhelms, keep the voices that matter clear. Built for classrooms, cafeterias, grocery stores, car rides, and any room that gets too loud — and for the caregivers, parents, and teachers who set it up. Available in 35 languages. The whole app follows your iPhone's language. Sensory Comfort works with the noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds you already own — AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, or any Bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation. Put them on, tap the circle, and the room gets quieter without going silent. FOR THE CLASSROOM A student can wear headphones and still hear the teacher. Sensory Comfort softens chatter, chair scrapes, and hallway noise while keeping speech clear, so a child who finds the classroom overwhelming can stay in it. A teacher or parent can set the Classroom preset in advance and lock it, so the level can't be changed mid-lesson. Use the iPhone's microphone, a Bluetooth mic, or a classroom mic. WHAT IT DOES Instead of blocking all sound indiscriminately like noise-cancelling headphones alone, Sensory Comfort selectively shapes your sound environment: - Live Dampening — turns down harsh or overwhelming sounds in real time while you wear noise-cancelling headphones, and keeps voices clear - Soundscape — layered comfort sounds to help mask what's bothering you, on any speaker or headphones - Caregiver Presets — one-tap setups for Classroom, Grocery Store, Car Ride, and Bedtime, so a parent or teacher can set it up in advance and lock it - Building Comfort — gradually reduces dampening over sessions at a pace you control, so you're not permanently dependent on blocking sound WHO IT'S FOR People with sensitive hearing and sound sensitivity — including many autistic and neurodivergent people, people with ADHD, hyperacusis, misophonia, or tinnitus-related sound sensitivity — and the caregivers, parents, and teachers who support them. Sensory Comfort is designed to be set up by an adult and used by a child or by yourself. WHICH ISOLAIT APP? Sensory Comfort is for when the room itself is overwhelming. If you need to hear one specific person, with live captions or translation, try Isolait — Voice Isolation, a separate app from the same maker. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Sensory Comfort processes everything on-device. No account, no sign-up, and no audio is ever uploaded or stored off your phone. SENSORY COMFORT PRO Live Dampening, Soundscape, Caregiver Presets, and Building Comfort are included with Sensory Comfort Pro — monthly or annual, auto-renewing, with a free trial. Cancel anytime in Settings. Sensory Comfort is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any medical condition, including autism, ADHD, hyperacusis, misophonia, or tinnitus. It is a sound-comfort tool only. If you have concerns about hearing, tinnitus, or sensory processing, talk to a qualified healthcare provider. Requires headphones with active noise cancellation for the full effect.
