About Kanji-Kaku
Bring your Japanese to life, one stroke at a time. Kanji-Kaku brings guided writing, lessons and reviews together for your daily study. Start with basic hiragana and katakana, or explore 2,136 jōyō kanji organized by study reference from JLPT N5 to N1, plus 247 additional kanji in Extras. JLPT classifications are study guides, not official exam lists. PRACTICE AND UNDERSTAND • Write on screen and receive feedback on your strokes. • Explore stroke order, meanings, and ON and KUN readings. • Study Japanese words and sentences with furigana above Japanese, romaji below, and translations in English or Brazilian Portuguese. • Listen to individual ON and KUN readings with the selected kana pronunciation. • Choose your levels for writing practice and work in sequence or random order. FIND YOUR RHYTHM • Learn through lessons and spaced repetition reviews. • Track your goals, study days and progress. • Organize kanji collections and set reminders. • Bring your study to the Home Screen with widgets. Your catalog and progress are stored on your device, so you can study offline while your access remains valid. The interface is available in English and Brazilian Portuguese. KANJIKAKU PLUS SUBSCRIPTION Study content requires an active subscription. Choose a monthly, quarterly or annual plan; every plan includes the same features. Apple-eligible accounts receive a seven-day free trial. After the trial, the subscription renews automatically at the price and billing period shown before confirmation. There is no permanent free study tier. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm your purchase, or when an eligible free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Restore purchases using the same Apple account.
