About Hypertrophy: Strength Log
Keep your strength training in one place. Hypertrophy helps you log workouts, record sets, and see how your training adds up over time. • Log workouts on iPhone or Apple Watch, revisit your history, and track personal records. • Choose from built-in exercises or add your own. • Build routines and use a rest timer between sets. • Start, log, and finish workouts on Apple Watch, with sets and rest timers synced to iPhone. • Home Screen, Lock Screen and Apple Watch widgets for today's training and recovery. • Sync workouts, routines and exercises through your private iCloud. • Record optional RPE for each set. • See muscle readiness based on your recent training. • Optionally connect Apple Health for workout saving, bodyweight, and recovery metrics. • Back up and restore your workouts, or export your sets as CSV. Core logging, Apple Watch workouts, history, Health integration, readiness, and backup and restore are free. Hypertrophy+ adds more than four routines, and app themes and icons. Hypertrophy+ is a one-time purchase with no subscription. No account is required. Your training log stays on your devices and in your own iCloud, never on a Hypertrophy server. Readiness is a training estimate, not a medical diagnosis. What’s new
Version 1.3 · Updated October 18, 2026
Your workouts now sync with iCloud. • Workouts, routines and exercises stay in your private iCloud and on every iPhone signed in to it. Free, with nothing to set up. • Widgets for your Home Screen, Lock Screen and Apple Watch: today's training, recovery and your last 7 days. • A training calendar at the top of History shows the days you trained. • After a workout, a short written summary of what changed, made on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence. • Backup and restore are now free. • Enter dumbbell weights for one dumbbell or both together. • While Recovery learns your normal, it tells you when your first score arrives. • A brighter look, with richer theme colors. • New app icons, including Liquid Glass. Gold is free once you've logged 30 workouts. This update also improves the Apple Watch workout: rest ending opens your next set, double pinch logs a set on supported watches, and RPE carries forward from your last set.
