DD Price Tracker

DD Price Tracker shows you what a car was priced at before today, right on the listing, in Safari on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. WHAT IT DOES • Open an ad on DoneDeal.ie, Used Cars NI or Auto Trader UK and a panel appears under the price with every price change DD Price Tracker has seen, the date the ad was first published (not the "bumped" date), the low and high, and how the asking price compares with the median of similar cars currently listed in Ireland. • On search results, small badges flag price drops ("↓ €1,500"), rises, and ads that have been sitting for weeks ("Listed 34d"). • On a sterling ad the price stays in pounds, with the euro figure at Revenue's own monthly customs rate beneath it, so a month of exchange-rate movement never reads as a price cut. • Any car that owes VRT gets a one-click link to our free VRT calculator, with the make, model, year, fuel, mileage and CO2 already filled in. • Importing from Japan? On Goo-net Exchange, BE FORWARD, SBT Japan, TCV and Car From Japan it shows the price in euro, what the same car asks in Ireland, and what Revenue will want on arrival. It records nothing at all on those five sites. • Press "Watch price" on any ad to keep it in your list, stored on your own device. • Works on every DoneDeal section: cars, motorbikes, commercials, farming, and everything else. HOW TO TURN IT ON 1. Open Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions (on a Mac: Safari > Settings > Extensions) and switch on DD Price Tracker. 2. Open a car ad in Safari. Safari asks once for each site whether to allow the extension there. Choose Always Allow so it can read prices on the pages you open. WHAT WE RECORD The ad number, the price, the date, and the public spec of the vehicle (make, model, year, fuel, mileage). Never seller names, phone numbers, photos or anything about your account on any site, and nothing whatsoever from the Japanese exporter sites. No sign-up, no account, no cookies. Histories are shared between users so everyone sees a fuller picture. Full policy: https://ddpricetracker.com/privacy Free, with no ads. DD Price Tracker is an independent Irish product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to DoneDeal, Distilled Media, Used Cars NI, Auto Trader, or any of the sites it works on.
