dam. | a day in one color

An app that keeps one color a day. Take a photo today and rub it with your finger. The color under your fingertip becomes the color of that day :) It doesn't take long to choose. Just rest your hand where something catches you. You can add a line, too. It doesn't have to be long. Enough that a later you will recognize it is plenty! 1. Stack them up and they become one line The colors you keep are laid out on a calendar. After a month, twenty-some. After a year, three hundred-some. From far away, that's one gradient. It doesn't say what you did, but what kind of time it was stays. 2. Two of you, side by side You can make a room and invite one person. Two colors from the same day sit next to each other. Without asking what happened, you can see what color each of you was today. Even far apart. 3. Made to be used for a long time No numbers pushing you. It doesn't count how many days in a row, and it doesn't paint the days you missed in red. Skipping a day is fine. Keep one on the days you want to. Good for days like these!!! • When you want to leave behind what color today was • When long diary entries keep piling up unwritten • When you want to share a day with someone far away • When you want to see how a year went by at a glance
