SGCaddie: Strokes Gained Golf

SGCaddie is a Strokes Gained (SG) analysis and golf GPS rangefinder app. It needs no sensors and no GPS watch, only your smartphone. It measures the gain or loss of every shot, so you can find where you really lose strokes and decide what to practice first. WHAT IS STROKES GAINED Every shot is compared with the average number of strokes a player needs to hole out from the start and end points. The difference is that shot's contribution to your score. It is the standard statistic used on the PGA TOUR. - Off the Tee (OTT) - Approach (APP) - Around the Green (ARG) - Putting (PUTT) Separating the four shows whether a bad putting day was really an iron problem. FEATURES - Shot tracking: a few taps at the ball. LOCATION GPS is used only to record ball position and measure distance to the pin. It is not collected in the background.
