About CineScore: Movie & TV Tracker
CineScore is a personal film and series diary. Score everything you watch out of ten, keep a watchlist of what's next, and watch your taste take shape. No account. No ads. No tracking. Your library is yours. Already have a library elsewhere? Easily import your ratings and watchlist from IMDb or Letterboxd, including your Letterboxd diary history. RATE WHAT YOU WATCH Search a catalogue of hundreds of thousands of films and series, add what you've seen, and give it a score from 1 to 10. Rate a series season by season, and its score becomes the average of the seasons you've rated. Watch something again and log a rewatch: every watch keeps its own score and date, the most recent one counts, and the older ones stay in a watch history. Add notes when a number isn't enough. Browse your whole collection as a wall of poster art, with the titles you added most recently in a row of their own. Sort by score, title, year, length or when you added it, and filter by genre, year and length. CineScore remembers how you left it. KNOW YOUR OWN TASTE Insights turns your scores into a picture of what you actually like: • Your average score, and how you score compared to everyone else • The genres you rate highest, and how your taste breaks down by genre and by decade • Your favourite actors, directors and show creators, ranked by how you score their work • The day of the week you watch most • Shows with new seasons waiting for you, and film series you've started but not finished • What you've rewatched most • Your biggest disagreements — the films you loved that the crowd didn't, and vice versa • Your year, month by month, for this year or any year before it Share a film, a show or your year as an image built around its poster, if you want to argue about it with someone. DECIDE WHAT'S NEXT Your watchlist is more than a list. It sorts itself into what you can watch tonight, what's in cinemas and what's coming soon, and every poster tells you the one thing you need to know: • Where it's streaming, once it's out • When a film in cinemas reaches home • The release date of anything on its way, or how far along it is if there isn't one yet • When the next episode of a show airs, or when its next season starts Shows you watch join the list by themselves when a new season is announced, and leave it once you've rated it. Sort and filter it by genre, year and length. Discover surfaces what's popular now, plus personalised suggestions drawn from the titles you've scored highest. See where something is streaming before you commit to it. Optional reminders tell you the day something on your watchlist arrives, down to the next episode of a weekly show. Settings lists every reminder you have coming, and when. WIDGETS Your library on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. One widget counts down to the next release you're waiting for, the other shows what you've rated and how much you've watched at a glance. BUILT FOR IPHONE AND IPAD A native app that uses the whole screen — a dense poster grid on iPad, a comfortable one on iPhone. Cast and crew, seasons and episodes, trailers, IMDb links and full details for everything. WORKS OFFLINE Your library, scores and notes are always available, with or without a signal. Download artwork ahead of a flight and the whole grid still looks right at 30,000 feet. SYNCS PRIVATELY Your library syncs across your devices through your own iCloud account. It never touches a server owned by the developer — because there isn't one. Export everything to a file whenever you want, watch history included; it's your data, and you can take it with you. PRIVACY CineScore collects nothing. No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, no account to create. Nothing about what you watch is sent anywhere except your own private iCloud. — This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb. Streaming availability provided by JustWatch.
What’s new
Version 2.3.0 · Updated September 29, 2026
Highlights • A fresh look, with a new accent color, redesigned title and season pages, and a calmer, easier to read Insights. • More Insights: the day you watch most, shows with new seasons waiting, film series you've started, your most rewatched titles, and a look back at any year. • Redesigned share images for films, shows and your year, built around the poster, with a preview before you send. • A little celebration when you add a film, show or season, or give something a 10. New • A Recently added row above your library. • Remove a season's score from its page, or by long-pressing it under Seasons. • See every upcoming notification, and when it arrives, in Settings. • Actor, director and creator pages link to IMDb. • Turn the celebration off in Settings (Appearance). Improved • The trailer and IMDb sit near the top of a title's page, and your rewatches are summed up in one line under your score. • Your library and watchlist remember how you sorted and filtered them. • Sorting by length or date added shows it under each poster. • Title pages show up to 20 cast members, and library search finds a film by any of them. • Discover no longer fills New episodes this week and Popular Series with talk and news shows. • Genres shared by movies and series appear once (Science Fiction, not also Sci-Fi & Fantasy). • Widgets follow your text size, and tapping the library widget opens Insights. • Smoother loading, with placeholders instead of flashing icons while posters and rows load. Fixed • A show leaves your watchlist once you rate its new season, and returns when another is announced. • A weekly show says when its next episode airs instead of "out now", and notifies you about it. • Actor, director and creator pages list their best-known work first, and everything of theirs in your library. • A show's creators are no longer labelled as its director. • Tapping a title in the Up Next widget opens that title. • Plus many other small fixes and improvements.
