About Loup: Learn From Books Daily

A little smarter every scroll. Loup turns the scroll you already do into short lessons from real books — psychology, philosophy, money, productivity, mental health, health and communication — in a feed that never runs out. HOW IT WORKS Pick a topic or two, or tell Loup to show you everything. Swipe up for the next card: a spark (20 seconds), a lesson (about a minute), or a passage of verbatim public-domain text. Every card is credited to the book and chapter it came from, in Loup's own words. Like a card and the feed follows that book in chapter order, so you can get through its lessons in about 40 minutes of scrolling. Skip twice and you're back in your regular feed. Now and then a wild card turns up, face down, from a shelf you didn't pick. Tap to turn it over. TOPICS AND BOOKS Seven topics, drawn from 70 real non-fiction books, for example: - Psychology: Atomic Habits, Thinking Fast and Slow, Man's Search for Meaning - Philosophy & Stoicism: Meditations, Seneca's Letters, The Daily Stoic - Money: The Psychology of Money, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Intelligent Investor - Productivity: Deep Work, Digital Minimalism, Essentialism - Mental health: Dopamine Nation, Stolen Focus, The Body Keeps the Score - Health & Longevity: Lifespan, Spark - Communication & Conflict: Nonviolent Communication, Difficult Conversations New cards are added every week. Loup names these books as the source of its lessons — it is not affiliated with or endorsed by their authors or publishers. QUICK GAMES IN YOUR FEED Two short games turn up between the cards from time to time. Quick sort: ten short lines from two of your topics, swipe each one toward the topic it came from. Shootout: a hook from a lesson you've read, and three headings to pick from. A wrong guess costs nothing, and the lesson opens either way. Quick sort can be turned off in your feed options. YOUR SHELF Your Profile opens on a shelf holding every book you've read from. The gold on each spine rises as you read, and when you finish a book, Loup celebrates and stamps it with a gold full stop. YOUR READING TIME A band on every card counts the minutes you've read today. Tap it for a month chart, one bar per day, against a daily goal you set — five minutes a day works out to about 30 hours a year. Loup counts the days in a row you meet that goal, on the card and on the chart, and a broken streak can be earned back the next day. Turn on a daily reminder in Profile if you want one — off until you turn it on. FREE, HONESTLY Loup is free, with an occasional "Sponsored" card in the feed, never inside a book you're following. There's no account to create and nothing to subscribe to. The feed also works offline, from a local reserve of cards. Questions, or a card that looks wrong? Use Report on any card, or write to [email protected].
