Private iCloud synchronization is optional; device-only notes work offline, with JSON backup and Markdown export. Capture through Control Center, Shortcuts, the share sheet, widgets or the Mac menu bar. Reminder phrases are interpreted on your device. Notification-reply capture is optional and can be dismissed.
