What’s new

Version 1.5.0 · Updated October 18, 2026

Surfers finally get their own view. It reads the National Weather Service surf report for your beach: wave height at the shore, rip current risk, both swells with their direction and period, and whether the wind is offshore. Set what you like and it marks the hours that fit. The rip current risk is free on the Today screen. There is a flood watch now. If a high tide in the next week could reach NOAA's flood line at your station, Today tells you. With Pro you see the odds for each day, the most likely day of every month and an alert at the line that keeps working even if you never buy Pro. The tide finder answers questions like "low tides under −0.5 ft, in daylight, on weekends, for the next three months." On devices with Apple Intelligence you can just type it. "When can I go?" takes your own limits for current, wind and tide and shows the hours that meet all of them. Your Apple Watch shows the next tide for free, there's a Control Center button, and you can find any station from Spotlight or Siri. The app also has new type.
