Devant Rehearsal

Devant Rehearsal is a focused audio-rehearsal app for iOS. It works on its own with your audio files, and it also opens Devant projects created in the Devant desktop app, available at devant.app. Open a Devant project to browse its playlists and select a track, or open a single audio file for a focused rehearsal. Keep the track waveform, current position, and rehearsal checkpoints in view while you work. Share your rehearsal files with your students or classmates. Checkpoints are reusable start anchors: select one to jump to its exact position, then play through the section. A checkpoint does not stop playback automatically, so instructors stay in control of when to pause, return, or continue. Features include: - Play individual AAC, M4A, MP3, FLAC, and WAV audio files - Open Devant project exports from the desktop app - Scroll and pinch-to-zoom waveforms for precise navigation - Add, rename, recolor, and position rehearsal checkpoints - Up to 20 checkpoints per track, with one-second spacing protection - See checkpoints directly on the waveform and in a dedicated tray - Play, pause, stop, and return to the selected rehearsal start point - Delayed playback countdown for solo rehearsals - Adjust playback speed to check a tricky section or increase your speed - Route audio quickly to your device, Bluetooth, or AirPlay output - Remote playback control and checkpoint selection via Apple Watch - Save local rehearsal checkpoint changes automatically to your device - Mirror Mode via front facing camera on iPads in landscape view Devant Rehearsal keeps the mechanics out of the way so you can spend more time teaching the moment—and less time finding it.
