About ReceiptInbox

Most receipt apps ask you to review a year of expenses one at a time, which is why the shoebox stays in the truck until April. Unlike them, ReceiptInbox groups near-identical records — the same vendor, the same category, the same business-use share — so one confirmation settles a whole run of them, and it tells you how long the rest will take at your own pace. Made for freelancers, contractors, tradespeople and real-estate agents in the United States who keep their own business records. A BACKLOG YOU CAN FINISH Hundreds of expenses become a short list of decisions, largest dollars first. Confirm one and every record behind it is settled. The time left is measured from your own recent decisions, not promised. NOTHING GUESSED COUNTS Mint means you confirmed it. A category the app suggests is a dashed chip marked Suggested, with the evidence behind it — "you filed Home Depot as Supplies 12 of 12 times" — and it stays out of every total until you say yes. SNAP OR TYPE Photograph a receipt while signed in and the vendor, date, total and sales tax come back as text for you to check; the photo is discarded in the same request and never stored. Or type it in — four fields, always works, no account needed. MILEAGE, TYPED Log a trip in three numbers. Each trip is valued at the published standard rate for the period it falls in, because the rate can change mid-year. No location permission, no battery drain. YOUR YEAR AT A GLANCE Totals against the published Schedule C line names, a month-by-month view that flags thin months, and a readiness meter that counts what you have confirmed — and says plainly that it cannot tell whether a record is right. AN EXPORT YOUR PREPARER CAN USE The plain expense file is free, forever. Solo Business adds the full package: mileage, a summary, the open questions a preparer will ask, and a QuickBooks import file. WHAT IT IS NOT ReceiptInbox is a records tool. It does not prepare or file a return, estimate tax, say whether anything is deductible, or score audit risk, and nothing in it is tax, financial or legal advice. FREE Up to 20 expenses a month (anything past that is saved and held, never refused), snap and type, review and confirmation, mileage, the yearly totals and the plain expense export. SOLO BUSINESS Unlimited expenses, card statement import, standing vendor rules, and the full accountant package. 9.99 USD a month or 89.99 USD a year, an auto-renewing subscription with no free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation and renews at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings.
