OrbitSafety: Friends & Family

OrbitSafety brings family location sharing, trip planning, safety alerts, and vehicle information together in one app, helping you stay connected with the people who matter most. Create private circles with family or trusted friends using invitation links or codes, manage member roles, and customize notifications for each group. See members’ latest available locations, battery levels, and driving status on a map, save important places such as home, school, or work, and receive arrival and departure alerts. Search for destinations, preview routes, use guided navigation, share trip details and estimated arrival times, and follow supported trip updates through Live Activities. Review recent location history and completed shared trips, explore driving reports with scores, speed information, hard-braking events, and rapid acceleration, and send outing permission requests to your circle’s administrators. When you need to alert your circle, press and hold SOS to request an alert and activate location sharing during the session. OrbitSafety also helps you organize vehicle details, insurance information, and registration documents, share selected vehicle information with your circles, access maintenance and verification estimates, view regional Hoy No Circula guidance, and open official vehicle-debt portals. With a compatible OBD reader, you can view supported vehicle readings, depending on your vehicle and adapter. Manage your profile, registered devices, notification preferences, and location permissions, with options to pause sharing, leave circles, or delete your account. Location updates and alerts depend on permissions, connectivity, and background availability, and background location use may affect battery life. OrbitSafety does not contact emergency services or guarantee SOS delivery; for immediate help, contact local emergency services directly.
