About Past Curfew
Curfew is one page for the week your friend group already has. Everyone's plans land in the same place, in the order they happen. You open the app and you can see the whole week at once: who is asking, what night it is, who has already said yes, and what is still waiting on you. There is no feed, no algorithm, and nothing to scroll past to get to your friends. SAY IT IN A SENTENCE Write "Pizza at mine Saturday 7pm" and Curfew reads the day, the time and the place out of the sentence, marks the words it understood, and lays them out on a ticket you can change before you post. Name somewhere real and it finds it on the map and pins the plan there. Whatever it does not claim stays as your note, word for word. ANSWER WITHOUT A THREAD Every plan carries "I'm in" and "Can't" on the card itself, with "Maybe" beside them when you open it. Answering takes one tap and everybody sees it at once, so nobody has to read back through forty messages to work out who is coming. BRING LISTS THAT SETTLE THEMSELVES A plan can carry a list of things to bring. Tap an item to claim it, tap again to let it go. One person per item, and nobody has to keep the list in their head. GIVE IT A PICTURE A plan can carry a photo from your camera roll, a GIF, or one of sixty pictures that ship inside the app and are matched to what you wrote. Comments take GIFs too. EVERY FRIDAY, WITHOUT TYPING IT TWICE "Every Friday at 6" makes the whole schedule. Each night in it is a real plan with its own answers, comments and bring list, so one of them can move or be called off without touching the rest. SAY YOU'RE AWAY "I'm away the 19th to the 21st" posts as an away rather than an invitation. The week shows you are gone and the day you are back, and nobody is asked to RSVP to somebody else's holiday. A MAP OF THE WEEK The same plans as pins, with the sky over them, so "where is everyone on Thursday" is one look instead of four messages. There is a month to scroll and a page for any single day. EVERYONE IS A COLOR Everybody gets a color in the order they joined a group, and it stays theirs. It is a ring around their face and a dot under a day — never a block of color with words on it — and a name or a face always rides along with it, so the color is never the only thing telling you who. INVITE-ONLY, ALWAYS Groups are closed. You get in because somebody sent you a link, and you invite people the same way: from your own Messages app, to one person, in a text you can read before it sends — or through the share sheet, if you would rather send it some other way. There is no directory, no discovery, and no way for a stranger to reach you. WHAT CURFEW DOES NOT DO No ads. No trackers, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporter: no third-party code in this app reports anything about you to anybody. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for anybody else's advertising. The app asks for your location only when you press a locate button — on the map, or when you are saying where something is — and never in the background. Sign in with Apple and start a group, or open the link a friend already sent you.
