Hygieniapassi Tutor

Hygieniapassi Tutor helps you prepare for Finland's hygiene passport test (hygieniapassitesti). The hygiene passport is the food-hygiene certificate you need within three months of starting work that involves handling unpackaged, perishable food – in a restaurant, café, canteen, bakery or at a shop counter, for example. The test itself The test has 40 true/false statements. You pass with 34 correct, and you have 45 minutes. You can take it in Finnish, Swedish or English. It is held by an examiner approved by the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto), and the examiner issues the passport. This app does not hold the test and does not issue the passport. It gets you ready for it. What is in the app • Seven chapters covering the test's topic areas: legislation, microbiology, food poisoning, hygienic working practices, personal hygiene, cleaning, and in-house control (omavalvonta). • Eight short modules on specific topics – food labelling, allergens and pests, among others. • Around 700 true/false statements. After each answer you see why the statement is true or false. • 30 model tests in the same format as the real test: 40 statements, 45 minutes. • Around 250 pictures and a glossary of the key terms. Practice weights the statements you got wrong last time or have not seen yet, so you spend less time on what you already know. Languages Chapters, statements and model tests are available in English, Finnish, Swedish, Russian, Arabic, Thai, French and Spanish. You can switch language at any time. Price Downloading the app costs nothing, and all seven chapters can be read at no cost. Practice for the first chapter and the first model test cost nothing either. The app shows ads: some model tests and modules are unlocked by watching a short ad. Premium unlocks all 30 model tests and unlimited practice and removes the ads. Premium is a one-time purchase for 7 or 30 days. It is not a subscription and does not renew by itself. No account is needed. Signing in is optional and only needed to use Premium on more than one device. Hygieniapassi Tutor is an independent study app made by KumaKart Oy. It is not produced or endorsed by the Finnish Food Authority or by hygiene passport examiners, and using it does not guarantee that you pass.
